Nancy Wake was a courier for the Pat O’Leary Line, a French Resistance worker and later an SOE agent in occupied France. Known to the Gestapo as “The White Mouse”, she helped Allied escapers and evaders move through southern France before returning to France by parachute in 1944 to support Maquis operations around the Auvergne.
ELMS holds the full long-form account in Personal Stories, where it sits alongside other helper, escaper and evader biographies and personal recollections.
